The Collins Quarter - Downtown Savannah on Bull Street

Updated: Mar 9, 2022

Happy Foodie Friday!! This week we head to The Collins Quarter Downtown Savannah location for brunch. The menu is different from the Forsyth Park location. Reservations are not required here as well but the wait isn’t bad roughly 10 – 20 minutes depending on the time you go. We decided to sit outside along the front premise of the eatery. This location also has dinner option as well.

.

I had the pleasure to have Eli as my waiter he is the BEST!! If you go to this location, I strongly recommend to get a table Eli will be waitering at. The tables are light beige color with match chairs and light blue umbrellas matching the logo on the building.

.

To start I had the Bondi Beach Mimosa which is a sparkling champagne mimosa with passionfruit/ strawberry puree and the bottom. This was the perfect drink for breakfast settle but a smooth spike of alcohol.

For the entrée I had the Breakfast Sandwich … THIS WAS SPECTULAR. It consisted of bacon, avocado (which was an added on), 2 fried eggs, and pepper- bacon jam on a ciabatta roll. The breakfast sandwich was thick, be ready to savor each bite as it keeps getting better with the combination of sweet and salty. The pepper-bacon jam is IT!!! I need this package as a condiment to add on several food dishes.

For the side option I devoured 2 hash browns, both were warm fluffy and had a crispy/ salty finish.

The meal comes with salad with feta cheese. I took that off but the salad was very good addition to meal. I was completely full after; I would’ve ordered another one just to eat for the next morning.

.

I was in the mood for a warm drink and decided to have the Matcha Latte with Oat milk. This was the first time experiencing a Matcha Latte, clearly, I’ve been missing out. The presentation was lovely, the turquoise saucer and cup matched yet complement tea to shine as the focal point. The mix of oat milk with matcha latte with every sip blended together as a smooth warming yet soothing beverage. I was relaxed and energized all at the same time.

I can’t wait to go back to this location for brunch and dinner next time I’m in Savannah. Check out @thecollinsquater
