Happy Foodie Friday!! This week we got flown out .. jk. We’re heading down South to Queen City Tear Bar in Charlotte, North Carolina. This tea bar is special as it offers unique and complexed selections of teas curated by you. Located in a shopping lot the tea bar is a breath of fresh air with light meals, coffee, teas, bubble teas, ice cream and sweet treats.
Upon entering take your time looking at the menu to choose your beverage. This tea bar is known for Bubble Tea! This was my first time having it so y’all know I went all out. To start you’ll choose the cup size– Regular or Queen City Style (which is a large). Next choose your drink of choice, from Teas, Coffee or Refreshments of Smoothies, Slushes, Lemonade & Spritzer the options are endless. Once you’ve decided on the beverage of choice the next step is to choose the type of tea- Green or Black tea then select a flavor ranging from Green Apple, Watermelon, Mango, or a QC Special such as Red Velvet and Mudslide.

Toppings are up next, you can range from Mango Jelly, Aloe, and even Grass Jelly. The idea at Queen City Tea Bar is to get creative with your drink making it one of a kind just like you! I got Green Tea with Green Apple Flavor, Mango Jelly and Pineapples. This bubble tea was a cold yet refreshing sweet drink. Sweet as in a natural way yet the pineapples did make it a bit too sweet for my liking. Let me not forget food is also available to order at the Tea Bar. With something for everyone.

The food combinations range from Chicken tenders, Korean BBQ Plate, and even Ice Cream. I had the Spicy Cauliflower fries and Fried Tofu. OMG Both taste incredible the spicy Cauliflower hits with the seasoning and crispness. I enjoy different variations of cauliflower and this takes the cake. The tofu was tasty, the fried coating was buttery with a hint of garlic, I’m telling you this filled me up quickly.

The service was great as the staff is willing to assist you with curating your beverage and options on foods to eat. Enjoy your meal inside or outside. Either way it won’t be a disappoint at all.
