The ambience is inviting, alluring, and luxurious at every turn. I appreciated the attention to detail infusing different aspects of textures, patterns, and prints that elevate the space. The bar continues with this concept as the chairs are plush bar chairs that are so comfortable, you won’t want to move. The lights in the dining area were off but illuminated by real candle light at each table and the neon pink light sign – Act Accordingly.
We decided to sit in the booth and started placing our order. The menu is tapas style with a compact range of options. This had to be the first time I've made it to Happy Hour in Years….We had the Horseshoe and the Lady Bug cocktails. The Horseshoe is smooth and for the Jack Daniels lovers with a mix of pomegranate juice, lime and pears. The Lady Bug is a mix of Prosecco, Mandarine Napoleon, with a lemon. The drinks were delightful so we got another round, trying out different drinks.
This time we tired Dream Catcher and N7.
I’m a Gin lover and the Dream Catcher ended up being by favorite. The combination of Gin, Cherry Heering, Lime Juice and Benedictine was satisfying. The N7 brings you to an island vibe with Coconut Rum, Passion Fruit, Orange and Pineapple.
Now on to the food!! We had Crab Cakes, Sliders, and Truffle Fries without parmesan cheese. The food was flavorful and delish, the fact that we order the Crab Cakes and Truffle Fries for a second time should say it all. The Crab Cakes was seasoned and filled of crab meat the tartar sauce is thick & creamy.
The Sliders are bite size but with a burst of flavor, thickness of the beef along with the caramelized onions did it for me. The truffle fries are good the when we use the Lucky’s Sauce with it…. Omg. Lucky the owner informed us it was the sauce is made from all-natural ingredients, it’s a must try!
The lounge extends beyond the bar to a private space to have dinner for two or more. Lucky’s Cocktail Lounge also has backyard space which will be opened for the Spring/ Summer seasons. The owner Lucky and her fiancé were friendly and delightful, along with superb service.
Check out @luckyscocktail – Lucky’s Cocktail Lounge. I’ll be back soon especially for the warmer months. Don’t forget to Act Accordingly.
