Happy Friday !
This week we head to Las Santas in Brooklyn,NY. @lassantas_nyc
The Mexican Gastro Bar & resturant is in Downtown Brooklyn. A 10 minute or less walk away from the Barclay’s Center.
.
I was able to visit this gem twice! Upon entering you’ll be transported into authentic Mexican culture from the music the decor and of course the food! Customer service is excellent, if you make reservations and the option to choose where you want to sit is available go for it, just ask!
The spacious place has an extensive bar to enjoy food and drinks. Not a bar person experience the dim dining area which is illuminated by ceiling spotlights, structural artwork that decorate the walls along skulls and greenery throughout.
.
Depending where you sit in the dining area you can turn and get a slight glimpse of the chef cooking the meals you’ll be enjoying.
.
Let’s get into the eats shall we..
The margaritas here are phenomenal !!! With a variety of flavors to choose from. My go to was the Raspberry Margarita - I had it twice. It wasn’t too sweet or sour and I’m not huge on tequila but this one did the trick. The Mango Margarita wasn’t my favorite but not a bad option if you’re a mango lover.
.
The Classic Guacamole was a hit !! You have the option to have it made your way. Whether that is spicy, mild, or plain -customization is key. Warning if you’re not going to share it you will be full. Chips are unlimited and no extra charge for more.
.
The Shrimp Fajitas were mouthwateringly delicious with rice, black beans, cauliflower, veggies and cilantro cream. The options range from steak, chicken, veggie and shrimp. Three corn tortillas come with it as well- just is not in the photo.
